What Germany Forgot

What Germany Forgot - James T. Shotwell An interesting read on the economic situation of pre Nazi Germany. In it, James T. Shotwell makes the argument that the German economy was no where as bad as many people had thought, and that at the time of the Nazi takeover things were actually beginning to stabilize and improve. According to Shotwell, revolutions occur when things are improving (even if only slightly), as otherwise people are too miserable to rebel.
